Take Time To Celebrate

I recently taped one of our regular clients and asked him how things were going with his career. He mentioned that his TV series would be premiering in a couple days. I was so excited and congratulated him, and asked how he was going to celebrate. His response was ho hum. He had finished shooting the series six months ago so the excitement had worn off and his heart wasn't in it. Well...I suggested he put a party together, raise a glass, and watch his premiere with friends. To all actors... remember to take the moment to breathe in your success and CELEBRATE! Even the small successes: booking a print job or a student film, nailing a scene in class, getting new representation, or having a fun self-tape session at SkyTown. Honor the journey. Honor yourself.
